My Hobby of Collecting Toys

I guess most of people would think that toys are things for children. I can't say that it is wrong but at least I don't think so. Actually, I have been collected toys for a long time. For me, I think toys have become a worldwide thing recent years, and shifted the definition of collectible toys, maybe we could consider it as "art". Why I say that it's because the toys I collect are not the mass production from factors, what I collect is so called "designer toy". Usually, the designer toy is limited edition product, so it's price will be much higher than our imagination. Designers around the world create their own characters even the stories about the characters, and then make them real in our world.  Many toy manufacturers using not just one materials to make their work, they may incorporating materials like ceramics and wood. Just as designers and artists often work in multiple media, the toys they create are manifested in numerous ways. Ultimately the toys become more like artwork that people can focus on appreciation. The purpose is not to make them playable. So why do I collect toys? There are endless reasons why people collect toys. They do it for money, fun and even memories. For me,  it's just because I simply love toys. Basically, toy collecting is like any other hobby. It is a good way to relieve some stress. Regardless of what makes me decide to take up the hobby of toy collecting, the important thing is I enjoy the hobby and derive endless hours of relaxation and joy from it.
